Applies skills as a seasoned, experienced academic advisor to independently provide prescriptive advice on academic policies and procedures for the Art Department major requirements, and all aspects of course requirements for degree completion. Monitors student academic progress and assists students in making appropriate educational choices and decisions, and recommends solutions to progression and requirement issues. Conducts informational sessions and provides advice. Provides course approval and articulation agreement processing for the department. Manages and inputs course scheduling information for both the graduate and undergraduate programs, including sections. Works independently under general supervision.
Budgeted Salary: $61,530 - $78,000 / annually. Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience. Under California law, the University of California, Santa Cruz is required to post a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.
